Privacy

Basswood Inc. is a Canadian local contractor. We handle personal information in line with PIPEDA (the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and Ontario privacy rules that apply to a small business.

What we collect

The quote form on Contact sends your name, phone, email, township, site address, product line, message, and any photos you attach to build@basswoodinc.ca. You can also call or text 705-943-4141.

Site photos

Photos of the lot are used only to quote and plan the work — access, slope, water, and the work area. We do not post customer photos without asking. iPhone HEIC files are accepted.

Who processes it

The web form posts through FormSubmit to build@basswoodinc.ca. FormSubmit is a third-party processor. We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising lists.

Site visits

This website keeps a first-party log of pages viewed, approximate city and region from the internet connection, device type, and referring site. It does not use GPS, cookies for advertising, or names. The yard uses that log to see which pages people open. Ask build@basswoodinc.ca if you want that information about a visit you made removed.

Retention

Quote details and photos are kept as long as needed to quote, schedule, and finish the job, and for ordinary business records after that. Ask build@basswoodinc.ca if you want a copy, a correction, or deletion where the law allows.
